South Jersey Gas Concludes SHARP Program

South Jersey Gas has completed work on its Storm Hardening and Reliability Program (SHARP), a $103 million project that replaced 92 miles of low-pressure distribution mains on barrier islands from Brigantine to Cape May. The improvements came in the wake of damage from super storm Sandy, to better safeguard the infrastructure from flooding, storms and other severe weather events.
